Dear Monday: Burrrrr! You were a cold one. While you were a day off for many, you weren't for me. I was lesson planning all day instead. It was nice, though, to not have to worry about studying for the Praxis anymore (*keepourfingerscrossed*). 

Dear Freedom: Goodbye. It was nice knowing you for the last month. It was nice to come home to run, read blogs, take time cooking, clean, or do whatever I wanted. I dread what tomorrow brings. Classes and mucho lack of sleep.

Dear Patriots: Thank you for being awesome. Thank you for Saturday's win. You were a great excuse to have friends over, eat chili and wings, and to bake cupcakes. If it weren't for you I wouldn't have discovered that I secretly really enjoy Bar-B-Q Fritos. It is possible that I finished the bag as I was typing this. Ooops. 

Dear African Violets: I can't believe the both of you decided to bloom at once! Thank goodness I didn't throw you away when Wilson ate you and left all but three leaves. Yes, I am such a biology teacher. I totally tried to be Gregor Mendel last night and attempted to cross-pollinate you both. I guess we'll have to wait a few months to see if it worked. 

Dear Vermont: You feel like the arctic tundra. How do people live in colder climates than ours? The car door didn't want to shut this morning. That's unnecessary. I'm am sooo craving a long run but am stuck doing workouts inside because I am a W-I-M-P.

Dear Tom: Thank you for the delicious meals this weekend. And thank you for the flower. The house smelled wonderful when I got home today. It reminded me a little bit of spring! I love you :)
