Oh Beautiful Vermont

Although it was raining most of the time that we were in Vermont, when the sun came out, it was gorgeous! Sunlight is one thing I take for granted in DC because it is almost always sunny. In Vermont, that is a different story. Sunlight always makes me happy in that state.

The fall colors are another thing I appreciate in Vermont, and they were pretty spectacular this past weekend. I managed to snap a few shots during our mini-trip and can't help but keep peeking at them every now and then, wishing I was back up there seeing them in person. 

Oh. And balloons! There were even hot-air balloons floating by!

      It makes me so happy to hear other people say nice things about our state :) We'll move back at some point. I can't imagine my life without that place for very long.

    Nice pics!! They made me homesick! I probably won't be going back up until Christmas this year. First Thanksgiving away!!!

      Oh no!! That is too bad that you cannot make it up, but at least you will be back in a few months. Christmas will be more special anyway!

    Vermont is on my list of places to visit! I love the colors! In the PacNW we have so many fir trees that we don't get a ton of leaf color changing!

      Oh you must visit it someday! It is gorgeous! I have wanted to head out your way for a few years. When is the best time to plan a trip to Oregon?
