Heading back to VT

It has been a fairly quiet week around here, but the perfect time to figure out what is wrong with my stomach/abdomen before heading back to school. After a week of appointments and tests I am forbidden from dairy this week and waiting to hear the results in a few weeks.


I turned the corner last night and spotted this on our bed

Tom and I will be heading up to Vermont later today, a trip we've been planning and looking forward to all summer. The only bad part about this trip is leaving Wilson behind. You better believe I looked into bringing him on the plane. I just can't imagine traveling with this kitty, who has insane lungs. I'm pretty sure everyone on the plane would want to throw us out with all the meowing he'd do.


He tried his hardest to convince us that he should come last night. He even demonstrated how well he fits in Tom's suitcase.


Next time you hear from me, I'll be back in the 802. But before that, I have to go running. The heat and humidity have returned to DC making mid-day running seem like torture! It's already 86 degrees and I have to get in 6 miles. It shall be disgusting.

    Wilson is so cute! It looks like he really wanted to go go to VT with his mommy and daddy. Hope that you and Tom have fun. It is always nice to have a fun trip to look forward too.

      Thanks Tasha! We love him so much. It was hard to leave him but I know he's in good hands. It was great to see family and old friends again this weekend - we certainly are enjoying our stay.
